N-GATE questions
Will our barrier or gate fit?
Yes, if it has an electric drive. The controller connects via a dry contact to barriers, gates, wickets and doors of any brand: GANT, NICE, BFT and others.
Do residents have to install an app?
No. They can open in Telegram, with a card, a fob or a free call from any phone. The app is optional: it is just the easiest way to create guest invites.
Will the controller open without internet?
Yes. The controller remembers up to 20,000 people and decides on its own: calls, cards, fobs and the exit button work with no network. MINI and STANDARD have a SIM card inside.
What if the subscription is not paid?
The controller keeps opening by the stored list, the list just stops updating. Pay, and everything is back to normal.
What do I do when a resident moves out?
Remove their access in the app with one tap. A former resident has no remotes, so there is nothing to collect.
Can a resident open someone else’s entrance?
No. Access goes from the apartment up: their own entrance, building and yard. Another entrance opens only for those who live there.
How do residents add their cars?
In the app or right in the access request, up to 10 cars per person. The board decides when a plate becomes active and keeps a blacklist. The barrier itself is opened by the N-LPR kit.
